Emilio Gañán’s paintings represent a new endeavour to purify and synthesize the shapes he has generated over recent years. Lines and planes are distributed on the surface of the canvas, where they weave an expression system in constant movement.
Gañán equates values such as rhythm, harmony and balance to musical interests whose temporal development is similar to the abstract two-dimensional patterns of his art.
The exhibition planned for Igallery will show works which, in the words of the artist, allude to “the movement of bodies. To the forces of gravity and inertia in space”.
